Winemaking
Winemaking
Harvested at optimal ripeness to retain its vibrant acidity, this Sauvignon Blanc is cool-fermented in stainless steel to preserve its fresh, fruit-driven profile. Minimal intervention allows the natural purity of the fruit to shine, delivering a crisp and refreshing expression of King Valley terroir. A portion of the wine is barrel-fermented, adding texture, subtle spice, and enhanced complexity.
The Vineyard
The Vineyard
This single-vineyard Sauvignon Blanc is grown in an elevated site in the King Valley, where the cool-climate, easterly aspect, and volcanic red loam soils create the perfect environment for slow, even ripening. The vineyard’s very old vines contribute depth and intensity, producing a wine with exceptional character and complexity.
